Special Areas of Treatment

Clara Irwin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW. She works with late adolescents, adults, and seniors. She is sensitive to the constant change life brings and our capacity to meet each moment with wise, kind attention. Her special areas of treatment include the following:

• Anxiety: Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety, Panic, Hoarding
• Depression
• Trauma
• Addiction
• Codependency
• Marriage and Family Counseling

Clara has extensive training in Mindfulness Based Habit Change, Exposure and Response Prevention, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for anxiety.

She has trained in somatic therapies to work with trauma.

She has trained at The Betty Ford Center in California and The Caron Foundation in Philadelphia to work with addictions and codependency.
