Clara Irwin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) specializing in working with late adolescents, adults and seniors. Her focus includes the following:
- Anxiety: Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety, Panic Attacks, and Hoarding
- Marriage and Family Counseling
Clara Irwin has trained extensively in working with anxiety disorders with a special interest in Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Her treatment approaches in working anxiety include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Mindfulness.
In working with trauma, she uses both Somatic Experiencing and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, in helping clients complete the trauma that has been held in the body.

She is sensitive to the changes that come with the natural progression of living and works with the loss inherent in these transitions to arrive at a place of acceptance and peace.
Mindfulness is a large part of her life and her practice. She recognizes the caring space mindfulness creates giving clients a sense of courage and compassion as they work through life’s challenges.
